Sandra and Laura-Marie present the money our headmistress
Last Christmas, the class 9d has decided to
collect money and spend it for a social good cause, instead
of changing gifts among each other
("Weihnachtswichteln") as they usually do at christmas time.
When they heard about the Tsunami disaster in South-East
Asia, all classmaids agreed right away that there the money
is needed most. All in all they collected 90 Euros and then increased
it to 180 € (23.400.00 LKR) with money from the class-till.
Since
our headmistress, Mrs. Dr. Kahlert, and her staff, had
decided to support the Meihandan M.V., a highschool in Sri
Lanka (Chulipuram), in the meantime, the pupils offered
their collected euros for this extraordinary project.

Under the leadership of Renate Ohnemus (class-teacher) the
students
sells some self-cooked cakes to all the others in our
school.

On May, 5th 2005 the students collected with their donation-boxes during the
parents-day 384.53 € (49.998.90 LKR).

Under the leadership of Christine Dubbel (class-teacher)
the
students organized a fleemarket and earned 157.04 € (20.410.00
LKR) |

The students sells a lot of buttons with our motto: "School
without racism" - "MBR against nacism" and they earned 112.35 € (14.605.50 LKR)
for the project.
